Monaco can often be a bit of a procession, with limited opportunities to pass, and the 2013 Monaco Grand Prix was no different. But it was so interspersed with accident and incident that it sidelined the boring bits to irrelevance and made for a cracking spectacle, a spectacle that ended, where it started, with Nico Rosberg taking a Mercedes win in his home Grand Prix.
Mazda Motor Corp. has canceled production of its RX-8 rotary engine sports car, citing falling sales and stringent global emissions standards. Production in Hiroshima, Japan, ended in early July and global sales of the car will conclude later this year.
The 250bhp 2011 Focus ST
Ford did threaten that a performance version of the 2011 Ford Focus would be a world car. We all jumped to the conclusion that would be an all new 2012 Focus RS – and it still probably will be – but if Ford need a get out of jail free card on the performance promise the 2011 Focus ST could be it. It appears that Ford are taking the first performance version of the new Focus to the Paris Motor Show in October.
